Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
EFFECTIVE October 7, 2026 · LAST UPDATED October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Critical Technology Services, LLC (“CTS,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit critical-technology.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. It does not govern any separate services engagement, which is covered by your written agreement with us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form, to book a call, request a quote, use a tool such as the Buyback Value Estimator, or sign up for updates, we collect the details you provide, such as your work email, name, company, approximate organization size, and anything you include in a message or tool input.
Information we collect automatically
When you use the Site we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type and user agent, referring pages, and interactions with the Site, through server logs, security tools, and analytics. Our analytics provider PostHog measures how visitors use the Site and records sessions (clicks, scrolling and pages viewed; what is typed into form fields is masked). When you submit a form, we link the contact details you gave us to your activity on the Site. We self-host our fonts, so loading the Site does not send your data to a font provider.
Cookies
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes and estimates;
- To route your request to the appropriate team;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers that operate the Site for us, including Cloudflare (hosting, database, and bot protection via Turnstile), Resend (to email us your meeting requests and inquiries), and our analytics providers Google Analytics, DataFast and PostHog. We also use Google Ads to measure which of our ads lead to inquiries: when you submit a form, your email address, and your phone number if you give one, are converted into one-way hashed codes before they are shared with Google, which uses them only to match your inquiry to an ad click. If you reach the Site from one of our Google ads, the phone number shown may be a Google forwarding number: it connects to us as usual, and Google tells us that a call followed an ad click, with the call's time, length and area code.
- Our CRM and email tools, so our team can follow up on your request.
- Legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and as required for legal, tax, and security purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information.
U.S. state privacy rights (including California)
You may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to correct inaccuracies, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EEA and UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing, to request portability, and to withdraw consent, as well as to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
International visitors
We operate in the United States, and information we collect is processed in the U.S. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed here.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review them.
